Wholly Free Women

Hello! My name is Jaimee. I live in the beautiful, historic city of Kingston with my dog Gimli. I am a writer by day and a direct support professional by night. These past four years, God has walked me through an intense healing journey of mending my broken heart from a lifetime of trauma to walking out in wholeness with Him. I am no longer a woman depressed living in a dissociated state 24/7 with the weight of the world on my shoulders and I am no longer paralyzed by fear unable to move and speak. God has brought joy into my life bringing laughter which was a foreign sound to my ears, a lightness where there was once heaviness and tools to help equip me to be the woman He has called me to be. I am still walking on this journey of wholeness with Him until the day God calls me home. I want to give women hope that what God did for me, He can do for them.

My heart is to journey alongside women to help them rediscover their First Love (Christ), their true identity in Christ, and to experience the true love of the Father. I want to equip women to fully live out who God designed them to be, how to spiritually battle over your mind against the lies of the enemy, how to regulate your emotions, and how to shift your perspective from being a prisoner to your trauma to a victorious woman of God who is seated beside Christ in the heavenly realms. To let the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to transform your life where how you see God, yourself, and other people change.

I love Isaiah 61. The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me (referring to Christ), because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favour and the day of vengeance for our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness (that’s us; God’s children), a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor (Isaiah 61:1-3, NIV).

God has come to bind up the brokenhearted where your identity, mind, emotions, and will become whole again. God has come to set the prisoners free from the spiritual darkness they find themselves in. He has come to give you a crown of beauty, an oil of joy and a garment of praise. I want to invite you to come on this journey with me to help you rediscover the love of the Father as He mends your heart. No matter what you have been through, God is waiting for you with open arms. It’s not too late for you to be the woman God has called you to be. He made you with a purpose and plan for your life. I invite you to step into this journey with me. I find it is easier when you have someone to walk alongside you; to support, encourage and pray for you.
